My Story

I am a professional question-asker. I combine my comprehensive background in marketing with my skills as an author and an internationally published journalist to help health & wellness professionals create clear, engaging content that connects with their audience.

Creative, energizing language moves, inspires and magnetizes an audience. Nowhere is this more apparent than in a beautifully crafted story. Easy to understand content positioned in a story framework creates space where  emotional connection can occur, learning unfolds, empathy grows and transformation begins.

Whether I’m penning an article, crafting a personal essay or writing web copy for a client, encouraging words to play well together is one of my favorite activities. Why does this matter?

When we can communicate with each other in an articulate, clear and thoughtful way, we can experience a true sense of connection. Maybe that’s why helping a struggling client reveal their authentic self and clarify the beauty of their business on the page is as rewarding to me as the outcome of fast-paced thriller.

What Drives Me

As an award-winning freelance journalist, author, and a health & wellness copywriter, I curiously explore the many ways that we can achieve optimal well-being and feel like our best selves, inside and out.

What I’ve Seen

I believe loneliness and isolation are among the gravest health threats we face. Lack of connection fuels stress, which negatively affects our mental and physical health. Like a vicious cycle, as we neglect our self-care, our relationships also deteriorate. I’ve seen this phenomenon over and over again in my own life and in the lives of the many people I’ve interviewed and connected with over the years.

When people feel heard and seen, they feel validated. When they feel like they belong to a community and enjoy a sense of purpose, they understand that they matter. And, we feel better, spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Like other forms of art, sharing our stories can create a magical sense of connection and community.
